Sue Weigand

pavement endsSue Weigand is a freelance writer and editor who has contributed to various publications over the past 20 years. She has written feature articles for the Orono Weekly Times, the Durham Blues Society, and the Oshawa-Whitby This Week, as well as produced a research report and educational videos for Durham College. Sue studied Journalism at Durham College, and has a BA (English, and History majors; Film Studies minor) from the University of Toronto.

    Really enjoyed all the info about Orono Orphans. Thought you might like to know that we’re showing Bill Armstrongs 1940’s, 50’s home movies at Orono United Church on Thursday February 21st at 7.00 p.m as part of Heritage Week. There’s some footage of the Orphans, including the victory parade after their April 7, 1949 win.
